Spanish Oak

It looks different because it is different - this is Deanston with a twist. Rich in colour, and taste, this distinctive malt was lovingly matured for 11 years ex-bourbon barrels. The next stage of the process was to further mature this expression for 9 years in Spanish Lepanto casks. A premium Spanish brandy, Lepanto is produced by Gonzalez Byass and gives this whisky its character and complexity in addition to a beautiful honeyed sweetness. This edition is limited to 784 bottles.

Tasting Notes


Gloriously intense and bursting with contrast - chewy beeswax, aromatic wild flowers, rich cocoa and zesty citrus.


Rounded velvety creaminess heralds all that is good; dainty candied fruits, rich crème brulée, zesty orange marmalade and frothy cappuccino.
