"Lovely stuff. Peppery spice from the virgin oak really complements the citrus and apple flavours from the distillate. And everything is pronounced at the high abv. There's no searching for 'notes'. A drop of water lessens the wood spice, and allows the honeyed character to come through more."
Hidden Costs and no customer service
"Bought online to send to a friend. Paid a large delivery fee (which I was happy to do as was going to Australia). Then got an email a few days later needing to pay the import taxes which from recollection were more than the delivery fee - this is not clear in the website. The delivery and import taxes were more than the bottle. Called to speak to someone, got nice person in the shop who said they would pass it to someone to call me back, and I’ve heard nothing."
