2004 Amontillado is geen gewone whisky - het is een vatsterkte, ongefilterde krachtpatser van 20 jaar oud, met de hand geselecteerd uit Magazijn 4, waar alleen de zeldzaamste pareltjes de aandacht krijgen. Verwacht lagen van toffee-appels, bittere amandelen, donkere tabak en een zoute toets.

We’ve taken our signature Highland spirit and given it a Spanish twist, aging it in a hand-selected Amontillado Sherry Cask. This whisky doesn’t just hint at adventure—it pours it. Bottled at full cask strength and unfiltered for that true warehouse tasting experience.

Amontillado casks are like a secret sauce of whisky maturation—offering a whole new layer of complexity that’ll have you wondering why you haven’t tried it sooner. This sherry’s Spanish roots bring a nutty, slightly funky edge to the game, thanks to a maturation process that gets the best of both worlds: a yeast-covered “flor” phase (like Fino) followed by an oxidative aging period. What do you get? Toffee, apples, almonds and a salty kick that sneaks up on you.

VATTENTYPE

Fully matured in Amontillado casks for that perfect blend of rich, nutty intensity and fruitiness - cask number 80 doesn’t just add character; it cranks up the volume on every sip.
