The Chronicles Series: 60th Anniversary Edition

Deanston is proudly cut from a different tartan. We’ve always done things our own way. The Chronicles: Anniversary Edition is a true reflection of that spirit. It brings together six casks from six different decades, each chosen not only for the character it adds to the whisky, but for the chapter of our distillery’s story it represents. In the hands of our Master Blender, these casks are carefully woven together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. The Chronicles embodies the bold decisions and independent thinking that have defined Deanston since 1966.

A celebration of six decades of whisky-making, distilled into one unified expression. The 1975 Oloroso cask brings rich dried fruits and sherried depth, while the 1980 Refill reveals Deanston’s waxy character through honeyed malt and orchard fruit. The 1991 Virgin Oak adds toasted coconut, vanilla and spice, deepened by the 2006 Armagnac with stewed fruits and grape richness. The 2013 Cadillac Wine lifts with floral citrus and dark berries, balanced by the youthful 2020 Burgundy with red fruit vibrancy. Finished in rare Porto Lágrima casks, adding delicate sweetness, soft aromatics and a refined, harmonising finish.
